How to Be A Source of Light in this Season

There is an Instagram post by @sefiracreative that has been circulating recently. It addresses a phenomenon that has cast a shadow over many of us since October 7: Antisemitism online.

The post gives ten “ways to detox” from this affliction…

  1. Put away your phone
  2. Take a walk
  3. Learn/practice Jewish prayer
  4. Call a Jewish friend
  5. Practice breathwork
  6. Light Shabbat candles to usher in peace
  7. Learn some Torah
  8. Learn a Jewish song
  9. Do a mitzvah
  10. Dance it off

…and I have some to add:
