Some leaders are humble, some are organized, some are decisive; others are courageous, visionary, or charismatic. No single middah could possibly encompass all styles of leadership. However, there are certain principles that we might agree should be held by all leaders. One of those is the middah of responsibility, achrayut in Hebrew. We will explore the different meanings of this word and how they translate into responsible leadership.
