A TASTE OF CHAI MITZVAH

Here’s a great way to stay in touch with friends and family, whether they live close by or far away: start a Chai Mitzvah group, and learn virtually with them every month!

On April 30, eighteen participants attended a webinar where they explored topics from the Standard, Mussar, and Aseret curricula. They discussed  different Chai Mitzvah programs for adults, teens, and families as well!

Audrey Lichter, Executive Director of Chai Mitzvah, led a meaningful text-based discussion about children and parents from the Standard curriculum. Reb Deb Smith provided a taste of the Mussar curriculum with a conversation about Chevruta, spiritual friendship, and Rabbi Nitzan Bergman taught about dignity as the underlying meaning of the commandment Do Not Steal. Nina Woldin, Managing Director of Chai Mitzvah explained how easy it is to start a Chai Mitzvah group of your own, or join one of the ongoing virtual groups.
