DESCRIPTION:Jewish and pro-Israel students are facing unprecedented hostili
 ty and hate while trying to live openly and proudly on campus. This sessio
 n explores how antisemitism is showing up across academic\, social\, and p
 ublic spaces on college campuses and offers attendees concrete action step
 s to support students\, combat antisemitism\, and help foster environments
  where Jewish life can thrive.\nRegister Here\nRena Nasar First has worked
  in the campus department at StandWithUs since the beginning of her profes
 sional career. As the Executive Director of Campus Affairs\, Rena directs 
 a team of local professionals who each work tirelessly to help college stu
 dents stand up to antisemitism and proudly bring Israel education to their
  communities. Rena was also featured on the NY Jewish Week’s “36 to Wa
 tch” list for 2022\, which features innovators who are remaking the Jewi
 sh community or contributing to society in ways that draw upon their diver
 se Jewish identities and sensibilities. As a proud Syrian Jew\, Rena is ea
 ger to represent her community wherever she goes. She is honored to be par
 t of the Sephardic Jewish American Diversity and Inclusion Initiative\, po
 wered by JIMENA\, where she serves on the Sephardic Leadership Advisory Co
 mmittee and the Women’s Leadership Committee. Rena currently resides in 
 Brooklyn\, NY\, with her loving husband\, Jason.
